Our clients have loved bringing up their family in this large, established home in Remuera, Auckland. The home had been well loved and was due for an update through out.
brief
Island Interiors was engaged to design and furnish multiple spaces - kitchen & scullery, master bedroom, master ensuite, powder room and family games room as well as finishes through the entire home including paint colours, wallpaper, flooring, electrical, lighting and window treatments.
The design direction was to create a modern traditional home that complimented the existing architecture and our clients collection of furniture and art. With a large family and regularly entertaining, areas were designed that would work well both day to day but also adapting to large scale groups and hosting events. The outcome is a home that retains our clients style but with added depth in colour, pattern, texture and finishes. The new modern amenities bring them home up to date and make it a beautiful, luxurious space for our client to live in for years to come.
